What’s going on with Site 3 coLaboratory: Mid-May Recap

Things have been a bit quiet on the news front lately, because we’ve been so busy with project and infrastructure work, as well as finding a location. We’ve already started on a few major projects. We’re fundraising and looking for members. And more news on this soon, but: we’re in the process of signing a lease on an amazing 2000 sq. ft. building!

Expect some more changes to the website in the future as we get an actual web person on-board to plan, design, and implement our site. However, we’ve been making sure to add content as we go, including:

• Site 3 vision and mission statement
• Information about Site 3 membership
• Current Site 3 projects
• Cool stuff for sale as fundraisers

The published project information is for larger projects for upcoming events. Expect to see more projects being added to the list soon! We’re planning on representing Site 3 and showing off our work at events including:

• Firefly (PK4A)
• Burning Man (Heart Machine, PK4A, Shannon’s Fireflies)
• SoOnCon (Everything!)
• Toronto’s Nuit Blanche (Shannon’s Fireflies, Flux and Fire)
